Art Pilgrimage with Prapto in the UK - Summer 2016
After the success of Prapto’s visit to Europe in 2015 he has decided to return to the UK for June 2016 with the theme of Art Pilgrimage.
Prapto will offer practice in 4 different sites: Bantham in Devon, Avebury in Wiltshire, Charmouth in Dorset and Michaelchurch in Herefordshire; there will be Open Days in each place which you are welcome to attend and to participate in.
In the months leading up to Prapto’s workshops, individuals and groups are working on the theme of Art Pilgrimage. Everyone is welcome to join in with others, or to create their own Art Pilgrimage and explore what this means for them. Some people are sharing their movement art activity through a Facebook group called MakingVisibleMAP, to make visible the individual threads and group encounters. You are welcome to join the Facebook group. (From your Fb page go to Find friends – type in MakingVisibleMap and when you get there click “+1 Join” to send a request, or email Stephen or Ihsan.)
During the time of Prapto’s journey in UK the fruits of these sessions and other presentations will be offered at particular sites or workshops. You can see the emerging pattern and programme of these events below. If you have anything you are working on or would like to offer during Prapto’s time in England, please contact Judy Cole.
