Me and Me Stick ~ Carran

Me and Me Stick
Carran Waterfield

Me and me stick, we get along fine.
Me stick props me up.

I can triangulate with me stick
on all threes, resisting all fours just yet.
I mean, all fours or all sixes and sevens in the zimmer frame,
the frame that gets you out of the zimmer
(German for room);
out – getting aus the haus
(German)
mit schtick
(Yiddish for stück).

Stuck
(English).

Stuck in the house, me and me schtick go out of the haus and take a look.
Aus.
Look out.
Hinaussehen:
see what’s out there
(German),
not exactly but the translation sounds good.

I will fall over.
I will fall.

Me stick triangulates me out and about.
so I won’t fall over.

We go in the bushes and fart in the wind.
I think about constipation.
I am stuck.
Me mud’s stuck in me,
inside of me,
keeping meself in meself.

So me and me stick play stuck in the mud
with the other broncho-cardiovascular (made up diagnosis) trees
with a dis-ease
clinging on for dear lives
just like me, me and me stick.
Us…and
Them.
