Performance Programme - September 2013

23rd and 24th September – Evening Performances
13 people have chosen to work together throughout the year – each on their own movement-based project. The group have been supporting one another to bring their projects to fruition. The first ‘harvest’ is now ready and we would like to share these 6 performances with you.
Please join us in the audience for either evening (or both) at Wootton Fitzpaine Village Hall, DT6 6ND. There are three performances (lasting about 2 hours altogether) on each evening. These events are free of charge – tea and coffee provided.
Monday 23rd September, 7.30pm
Paule Yeomans: The Anchor and the Butterfly. A story about transformation.
Ali Finch: Evelyn - A tale of love, sex and magic. A theatrical extravaganza on a small but mythic scale concerning Paradise and all who dwell therein.
Mary Booker: “We are such stuff as dreams are made on...” (The Tempest IV,1, 148-158)
Three dreamers on Prospero’s island, each pulled into what they most love and what they most fear.
Tuesday 24th September, 8.00pm
Alex Crowe: It was like this… Memoirs of Sir Joseph Archer Crowe, recounted by his grandson.
Keith Miller: textcontext - An exploration of language and an offering to the Hindu goddess Saraswati who endows human beings with the powers of speech, creativity, wisdom and learning.
Caroline Hepworth: Untitled. (Incidents below the surface.)
If you arrive late, please wait to be let in during an interval.
Other members of the group are organising daytime workshops and events. If you would like to attend one, please ring or email for details.
