The Move into Life Project Group
Programme of Events - September 2023

8th - 10th September – Movement-Based Events

This is the seventh time, over the past 11 years, that the Move into Life Project Group has offered a weekend of indoor and outdoor events in Wootton Fitzpaine, on Stonebarrow and in Charmouth. (See map for the four locations)

Each group member begins with a movement-based project that they long to materialise and, over the year, support one another to make that project a reality.

The group meets every 8 weeks or so to try out ideas, locations and themes. The rest of the time they work on their own or in pairs, or meet informally to witness each other’s process and to give feedback. Plans change, projects evolve, disintegrate, reform and it is all held by the temporary ‘community’ of the group.

All our attention is given to supporting the creative process of the others without losing the thread of our own project. Each participant consciously engages with the others’ projects through the lens of their own work and often we have been amazed by the resonances that appear over time between very disparate projects.

The culmination of this year’s Move into Life Project Group is on 8th-10th September. All events are free. Please see the full programme below (which may be subject to minimal time changes nearer the date).

Of  course, you're free to come and go and attend just one event or several.

Limited accommodation possibilities can be found on www.charmouth.org or on Airbnb. Camping is always possible.
