Dates UK: 17th - 21st May, 2014 Ireland: 11th - 17th August, 2014 Location: UK: Wootton Fitzpaine/Stonebarrow, Charmouth, West Dorset Ireland: The Boghill Centre, Kilfenora, Co. Clare Select a theme or narrative that is present in your life, move with it and explore it in different surroundings – sometimes indoors, but mainly outdoors, either on Stonebarrow Hill or on the Burren in Co. At the end of the workshop, you will be invited to create and share a short movement piece to help you crystallise your experience and to be witnessed by the others. This can be an effective way of healing past wounds, restating new intentions or affirming change. Throughout the workshop you will be guided as you explore new movement forms – focusing as much on future possibilities as on existing beliefs and habits. It’s an opportunity to get a new perspective on your own 'mythology' and the stories that you tell yourself and others about yourself and your life, a chance to bring your movement ‘up-to-date’ and to allow creativity to emerge from your life experiences. Through movement scores and simple activities you will be guided to become aware of:
